Molly Munson Cherala is an associate at McCloskey, Waring & Drury LLP.  Her practice focuses on advising and assisting clients with respect to coverage issues involving all aspects of general claims handling and resolution, including the investigation and analysis of claims, defense, and indemnity obligations.

 

Additionally, Mrs. Cherala provides litigation support and management for our clients, assisting with navigating the California State Courts and Federal Courts. Prior to joining MWD, Mrs. Cherala was a practiced litigator mainly focused on cybersecurity, public entity, and insurance defense litigation. Mrs. Cherala has handled a wide variety of cases in her practice ranging small claims court to complex class actions in courts ranging from Massachusetts to California.  Mrs. Cherala enjoys keeping abreast of the latest tech developments and legal challenges, including attending UC Berkeley Law’s AI Institute.

 

Mrs. Cherala graduated with honors from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in International Studies. During her undergraduate program, she also studied at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the Fundacion Jose Ortega y Gasset in Toledo, Spain. As a native Atlantan, Mrs. Cherala returned to the University of Georgia School of Law for her J.D. During law school, she interned with the Honorable Judge John Goger and the East Bay Community Law Center as well as participated in the Moot Court Team.  While not assisting clients. Mrs. Cherala enjoys hiking with her rescue dog Winston and cooking Indian and Southern classics.
